After 15 years of working and volunteering at many non-profit agencies in Rochester, Alyssa Whitfield found a way to combine her passion for building relationships, mentoring professionals, and fashion by opening Dress for Success Rochester, a non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing career development tools, a network of support, and professional attire to help them thrive in the workplace. The organization’s purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. Dress for Success Rochester is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures.

Travel Stipend

Whether by car, bus, plane, or train, if you’re traveling from outside a 250-mile radius of Rochester, NY, to join us for Diversity Conference, we’ve got you covered. Travel stipends are available, and we’ll also cover the cost of hotel accommodations.

Contact us at events@simon.rochester.edu at least four weeks in advance of your target visit date to request a travel stipend (note that requests received fewer than four weeks prior to the event will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
